Job OverviewPlanetArt is looking for a Merchandising Associate to support the company’s Merchandising department. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, product development, data management + analysis, inventory oversite and website aesthetic + functionality.At PlanetArt, the Merchandising Associate is responsible for supporting in a wide variety of product research, development and analysis. This role provides an opportunity to use a combination of analytical and creative skills!Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to; website and product updates, product research and selection, asset management, cost/pricing requests, creative briefs, inventory checks, data management and communicating with internal and external partners.This is a remote, work-from-home position.What You’ll DoKey ResponsibilitiesAssortment Planning - Research & DevelopmentAssist with a variety of research and analysis with product and pricingConduct competitive analysis as we build product assortmentsConduct competitive analysis for pricing researchConduct competitive analysis for product researchResearch new products & vendors and help build assortments for upcoming launchesAssist with inventory management – Help research inventory status of products featured in upcoming promotionsSample Management – Manage sample orders Cost & Pricing Requests Create and manage cost and pricing request using our internal system in collaboration with cross-functional teamsMaintain documentation and version control for product cost and pricing updatesCommunicate with cross-functional teams to assist with gathering COGS across product categoriesConduct competitive analysis on product pricing across product categories as we onboard new products Pricing Updates – Learn our internal tools and assist with updates as neededWebsite Support Assist with website and product management: Learn internal tools and help with on-site merchandising updatesProduct Copy – Help ensure the correct product attributes are listed in product detail pagesMonitor and analyze the aesthetic and performance of product and category pages, seeking ways to improve the online catalog based on dataEnhance the shopping experience by maintaining site organization through filters, search tags, and keywords.Maintain site integrity by overseeing product status and updating product and color changes as neededPerform periodic audits to maintain product accuracy across homepages, landing pages, and product category pagesLearn our internal tools and help with homepage zone, pills and general website updatesFilter updates & research – Learn about filters and how to use filter tagging toolMarketing Campaigns Assist in selecting merchandise for promotional use in marketing assets, aligning with strategic goalsCollaborate with marketing and creative teams to create visually compelling presentations of products in marketing materials.Review marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and visual appeal, providing feedback and recommendations.Create creative briefs requesting assets based on brand and seasonal needsFilter updates & research – Learn about filters and how to use filter tagging toolWhat You Should HaveSkills, Qualifications, and Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, buying or a similar roleStrong analytical skills with ability to manage large datasetsStrong understanding of online retail and e-commerce best practicesStrong proficiency with Excel, PLM and ERP systems are a plus!Experience with Jira and project management systems is a plus!Experience with Shopify or basic website build is a huge plus!Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus!Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentWhat You Can ExpectWorking ConditionsPosition requires long-term and fully remote work scheduled from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM US Pacific TimePosition requires regular, continuous use of computer.Position requires regular sitting and standing.Position requires regular interaction with team members through the following methods: phone, WebEx, Slack, or email.Position requires time and screen tracking via HubstaffWork From Home RequirementsOwn computer (Windows 10 or higher or Mac, at least 8GB RAM and at least Intel i5, Ryzen 5 or M1 processor)Reliable high-speed internet accessNoise-cancelling headset (if applicable)Private, distraction-free environment (if applicable)Pay RangePay Rate: ₱70,000 to ₱80,000 per monthPerksPaid Time OffPaid US Holidays
