We are currently hiring a full-time Merchandiser to deliver exceptional rack services and merchandising support to our Retailers in the New Orleans area. In this role, you will: β€’ Order, stock, and merchandise HBC/GM departments in member/retailer stores β€’ Manage new product introductions β€’ Promote and sell displays for contracted clients of Merchandising Services This full-time position requires a commitment of approximately 32-40 hours per week. Other duties may be assigned. β€’ Order HBC/GM merchandise for member/retailers stores. Verify expiration dates on all product received and on shelf. β€’ Check in the entire order. This includes cases and totes. β€’ Stocking, Rotating, Pulling Discontinued Items and Dusting all HBC/GM departments in member/retailer stores each time the store is worked. β€’ Notify your supervisor and/or supervisor of any errors in shipping and/or outdated product. β€’ Fill out Complete and Accurate Credit Return forms β€’ Make sure private label products are merchandised to the right of the comparable national brand. β€’ Develop a good working relationship with member/retailer. β€’ Work in new items and replace slow and non-selling items. Education and/or Experience No less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations β€’ The employee must maintain a valid Driver’s License. β€’ The employee must maintain an appropriate motor vehicle driving record.
