Job Summary of Merchandise Stock Associate:
Obligated to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through engaging with customers, embodying customer service philosophy, and maintaining a well-organized store environment, while complying with operational, merchandise, and security regulations.
Responsibilities of Merchandise Stock Associate:
Ā Exemplars of customer service excellence promote established practices that benefit interactions with both internal and external clients
Ā Sustains and reflects a supportive store climate by valuing honesty, trustworthiness, and politeness
Ā Follows set operating procedures to ring up customer purchases and manage returns effectively
Ā Suggests promoting credit and loyalty programs as part of customer interactions
Ā Upholds and follows the merchandising philosophy along with established procedures and standards
Ā Adheres to company protocols and standards while preparing and organizing merchandise for placement on the sales floor
Ā Takes the lead and joins in store recovery as needed during the day
Ā Ensures compliance with the organizational, cleanliness, and recovery criteria for the sales area and participates in the overall store cleanliness upkeep
Ā Provides and welcomes consistent appreciation and constructive feedback
Ā Upholds all labor regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines
Ā Participates in and supports programs focusing on reducing store shrink
Ā Engages in actions that emphasize safety awareness and the maintenance of a safe setting
