Responsibilities • Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas as needed. • Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers. • Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. • Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back according to procedures. • Promote credit and loyalty programs. • Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow standards; process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor. • Initiate and participate in store recovery and maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and store overall. • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback; adhere to labor laws and store policies. • Support shrink reduction programs and participate in safety initiatives. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Excellent customer service skills. • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs. • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing directions or unexpected situations. • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation. • Works effectively with peers and supervisors; retail experience is a plus. Benefits and Pay Starting pay range: $15.49 to $15.99 per hour. Actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include associate discounts, EAP, and various insurance and savings programs in accordance with plan terms. Some benefits require meeting service or hours requirements. Eligible for 401(k) match and other benefits per applicable plan.
