Meraki vMX consultant with Azure experience
Modernizing
Global Connectivity via Meraki vMX & Azure Virtual WAN
1. The Current Challenge
Our existing 35+ site network
relies on "Traditional" Site-to-Site (S2S) VPN tunnels. While
functional, this model presents three primary operational hurdles:
1. Manual Scaling Burden: Every new site or subnet change requires manual
configuration in the Azure Portal. Across 35+ sites, this creates a high
labor overhead and risk of "human error."
2. Circuit Inconsistency: Traditional tunnels are "passive" and
struggle to maintain high-quality connections over varying internet
circuits, particularly across our global regions.
3. Bandwidth Bottlenecks: Our current manual VPN gateways have a fixed
throughput limit (often capped at 650 Mbps for the entire company). As we
grow, this "shared pipe" becomes a bottleneck for all sites.
2. The Solution: Meraki
Auto VPN + Azure vWAN
We are proposing a move to a
"Cloud-Native" model using the Meraki vMX (Virtual MX)
integrated with our existing Azure Virtual WAN architecture

We are a consultancy that has Azure consultants to work with you. We're primarily looking for a Meraki consultant to work with our team to implement the initiative. This request is for a particular client but we do have a number of clients using Meraki equipment so this could go beyond a one-off project. Minimum pressure with long term friendly fire client.
