Mental Health Provider (PMHNP) at Sway [Fully remote]

Remote Full-time
Summary

We are looking for PMHNPs with:
• Experience and interest in treating bipolar disorder
• Experience and interest in providing integrated care, to include CBT and DBT elements

About Us

Sway is the leading telehealth provider specialized in bipolar disorder. The lack of access to such specialized care is a key constraint in the recovery and flourishing of those living with the condition. Sway's mission is to make specialized psychopharmacology, evidence-based psychotherapy and psychoeducation available to all of those living with bipolar disorder. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join us in this mission.

About the Role

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Sway you will:
• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients with bipolar disorder
• Provide evidence-based psychoeducation and brief psychotherapeutic interventions based on elements of CBT and DBT. We will provide training on this, but experience is a big plus
• Form, implement and review individualized treatment plans
• Identify high-risk patients and respond with elevated safety concerns following protocol
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality as described by HIPAA policies
• Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care
• Assist in the implementation of quality improvement of our protocols and procedures

Working At Sway

The Sway team is committed to creating an unparalleled environment for our PMHNPs to thrive in. We have dedicated teams to handle marketing, billing, credentialing, and scheduling, enabling our providers to focus on what they love: caring for patients.

You will enjoy growth and support through: ongoing consultation with other team members; specialized clinical training with experienced bipolar providers; information on the latest research advancements in the field; technical support and clinical protocols; 1:1 mentorship to discuss complex cases; and an open, receptive environment to provide feedback.

Working at Sway you will:
• Make a difference in people's lives by providing expert psychiatric care and medication management for bipolar disorder
• Work from the comfort of your own home
• Have control over your schedule and working hours
• Spend your time with patients, rather than with paperwork
• Thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment

Who You Are

The ideal candidate:
• Is a licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland
• Has at least 2 years of relevant experience in treating patients with mood disorders, particularly bipolar disorder
• Is comfortable with telepsychiatry and medication management in a remote setting
• Has a confidential & quiet, private location to work remotely from with reliable internet access
• Is comfortable and efficient with using technology to communicate
• Is ambitious and ready to keep up with a goal-driven, start-up environment

Experience with bipolar disorder patients is a strong plus, but not required

Compensation

The position offered is a 1099 contracted role, where you will have control over your schedule and have the ability to reach your desired pay.

While we'd prefer if your intention is to work full time, the minimum time commitment we expect is 10 hours per week.

The hourly rate will depend on experience and will range between $130-190 per hour, while your earnings are uncapped with Sway.

For our top providers we also offer long term incentive plans with annual stock awards, allowing you to truly participate in our economic success.
