Membership & Administrative Assistant
PF Independent Franchisee Council (PFIFC) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Membership & Administrative Assistant to support the organization’s leadership and membership engagement efforts. This role involves providing administrative support, coordinating membership communications, and engaging with members to enhance their experience within the Planet Fitness franchise system.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the Executive Director and senior staffCoordinate calendars, meetings and conference callsPrepare and distribute materials for Board of Directors and committee meetingsRecord and distribute meeting minutes and track required approvalsAssist with confidential correspondence and presentation developmentCoordinate travel arrangements and process expense reportsSupport logistics for off-site meetings and organizational eventsServe as the primary point of contact for phone calls, mail and office communicationsMaintain electronic and physical filing systemsDraft letters, reports and internal documentsManage office supplies, equipment and vendor relationshipsCoordinate with building management and service providersSupport membership recruitment, retention and engagement initiativesMaintain membership records, dues tracking and engagement dataCommunicate with current and prospective members regarding membership benefits and programsAssist with membership outreach campaigns and communicationsUtilize surveys and feedback tools to measure member satisfactionMonitor membership trends and prepare reports for leadershipServe as staff liaison to the PFIFC Membership CommitteeSkillsBachelor's degree required1-3 years of professional administrative, membership, association or operations experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesHigh attention to detail and ability to manage confidential informationAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work independently in a small professional office environmentExperience working in a nonprofit, trade association or membership organizationExperience supporting senior leadership, boards or committeesExperience managing membership data, engagement programs or recruitment initiativesBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time offShort- and long-term disability coverageLife insurancePlanet Fitness Black Card® membershipCompany OverviewThe Planet Fitness franchise system has more than 130 franchisees that own and operate over 2,000 Planet Fitness locations in the United States in just over 15 years of franchising.
