About the position
The Member Services Representative at American Airlines Credit Union is responsible for building positive relationships with members, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. This role involves processing transactions, maintaining account information, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a culture of teamwork and service excellence.
Responsibilities
Ā Open new accounts and process Credit Union services for members
,
Ā Post deposits and process loan payments
,
Ā Process various monetary transactions and maintain account information
,
Ā Perform Notary Services as required
,
Ā Create and promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union
,
Ā Work with branch/department managers to leverage cross-selling opportunities
,
Ā Research member inquiries and provide timely solutions
,
Ā Maintain awareness of all branch functions to provide proper support
,
Ā Implement and enforce internal control and security measures
,
Ā Foster a culture of teamwork and service excellence
,
Ā Perform loan interviews, processing, and disbursement activities as assigned
,
Ā May work a rotating Saturday schedule depending on job location
,
Ā Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Ā High school diploma or GED
,
Ā Ability to work in-person at assigned branch location
,
Ā Cash handling, sales, or customer service experience within the last twelve months
Nice-to-haves
Ā College degree in business, finance, or related area
,
Ā Previous banking or Credit Union experience
,
Ā Experience in a service-culture environment
,
Ā Skilled in Microsoft Office software
,
Ā Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish
