MEDITECH SUPPORT ANALYST
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Meditech Support Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. This role involves providing technical support and system optimization for Meditech electronic health record (EHR) systems within clinical and administrative environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong data management, SQL, and system design expertise, with a focus on improving healthcare delivery through effective health information management. Experience in managed care, acute care, and bioinformatics is highly desirable. The Support Analyst will collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless system operation and data integrity across healthcare settings. Responsibilities: Experience with Multiple Modules - • Comprehensive review of Meditech tickets • Knowledge of each application module • TB/CDP parameters configuration and management • Application dictionaries and data structures experience • Resolve Tickets • Provide technical support for Meditech EHR systems, troubleshooting issues related to system performance, data accuracy, and user access. • Assist in system design, configuration, and customization to meet clinical workflows and organizational needs. • Manage databases, perform data collection, mining, and analysis to support clinical trials, research projects, and operational reporting. • Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards to facilitate data analysis and decision-making processes. • Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize system functionalities aligned with medical terminology standards and health information management best practices. • Support system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other healthcare IT solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Conduct training sessions for end-users on new features or updates within the Meditech platform. • Document procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting steps to enhance knowledge sharing within the team. Experience • Proven experience supporting Meditech EHR systems in a healthcare setting. • Strong understanding of Epic systems and managed care environments is preferred. • Demonstrated expertise in databases, SQL programming, data mining, and data analysis skills. • Knowledge of health information management principles, clinical workflows, medical terminology, and bioinformatics is advantageous. • Experience working with IT teams on system design projects related to healthcare applications. • Familiarity with clinical trials processes or acute care environments enhances candidate suitability. • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in data collection and analysis tasks.
