You will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing phone calls, answering questions, resolving issues, and helping clients make informed decisions about their Medicare plans. Job Responsibilities:
Exercise exceptional customer service skills to solve problems and retain current customers
Maintain required resident state health insurance license and stay up-to-date with continuing education, CMS, and carrier requirements
Process calls in strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as applicable federal laws and regulations
Document customer issues, resolutions, and outcomes as required by the client
Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information and data accessed within assigned systems
Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers, team members, and department contacts
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; additional education may be required based on individual projects or locations
Active and current Health or Health & Life/Accident home state license required
Minimum one year of telemarketing, appointment setting, or customer service experience
Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to express assurance/confidence and empathy, and ability to articulate complex Medicare programs
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and adapt to change during peak seasons
