TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jerseys premier medical transportation company. We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.
WHAT YOULL DO
As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergent and non-emergent calls.
Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders, MAV Drivers, and Nurses during emergent and non-emergent transports
Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times
Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD)
Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS response required
Operate radio communication devices, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems
WHAT YOULL NEED
Dispatch experience is preferred but not required
Proficient computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in high pressure situations
Clean background check
Negative drug screening
