Compensation Structure: $11/hour - No prior scribe experience $12/hour - 6+ months of scribe experience $14-$17/hour - Lead Scribe (1+ year of scribe experience required) Additional $1/hour for fluent Spanish-speaking candidates Opportunities for experienced scribes to earn up to $16/hour Position Overview: As a remote medical scribe, you'll be an essential part of the healthcare team, working side-by-side with a provider to document patient encounters in real time.Comprehensive training is provided to ensure you are well-equipped to support your assigned provider(s). Key Responsibilities: Prepare patient charts according to clinic protocol Accompany providers in scheduled patient visits (virtually) Document patient history, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plans Assist in tracking quality metrics and ensure accurate documentation Enter lab and radiographic study orders as instructed by the provider Input medication orders as dictated by the provider Print and organize patient instructions as needed Review completed charts with the provider between patients or at the end of the shift Maintain and update provider and clinic preference documents as necessary Qualifications & Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly Preferred: Candidates on a healthcare career track (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, etc.)Education: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (minimum 3.0 GPA); candidates without a degree should have at least one year of full-time scribing experience Ability to type at least 60 words per minute (required for most assignments) Perks &Benefits: Gain valuable patient contact hours Receive letters of recommendation from healthcare providers Earn paid time off on an accrual basis Get reimbursed up to $150/month for a healthcare planThis is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while working remotely.If you're passionate about medicine and want to develop essential skills for your future healthcare career, !
