Medical Reviewer & Safety Reviewer- Active Registered Nurse license

Job Summary: The Medical Reviewer and Safety Reviewer III supports post-market safety surveillance activities for medical devices. This role is responsible for conducting medical safety assessments, evaluating adverse events, and ensuring timely and compliant safety reporting. The position applies clinical expertise to assess device-related risks and contributes to overall patient safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Perform post-market safety surveillance activities for assigned medical devices • Conduct medical safety assessments for device complaints involving adverse events • Evaluate seriousness of adverse events and assess device relatedness • Determine whether device malfunctions could contribute to serious injury or death • Ensure timely completion of medical safety assessments to support regulatory reporting • Identify safety trends or issues and escalate concerns to management as needed • Present device safety data clearly in written documentation and verbal discussions • Adhere to internal procedures, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements Required Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher • Active Registered Nurse license • Five to seven years of hands-on clinical experience • Strong ability to apply clinical judgment to adverse event evaluation • Experience assessing medical device safety events • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Windows-based systems, Word, Excel, and general computer applications Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with post-market medical device safety surveillance • Familiarity with regulatory reporting timelines and safety assessment processes Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
