Medical Review Specialist
Position Overview: MacMore is seeking Medical Review Specialist(s) to support a pending award at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation for a pending contract award. Location: Remote Key Responsibilities: Conduct medical reviews of reasonable accommodation and sick leave requests in support of the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM). Evaluate employee-submitted documentation (e.g., medical records, accommodation requests, and position descriptions) to assess completeness and compliance with applicable policies. Determine the need for additional medical information from healthcare providers to support informed decision-making. Assess whether proposed accommodations enable employees to perform the essential functions of their positions. Provide clear, timely recommendations and guidance to OHRM on accommodation determinations and related medical considerations. Minimum Qualifications: At least four (3) years of more HR generalist experience. At least four (3) years of experience performing reasonable accommodation and medical documentation reviews.. Knowledge of the Rehab Act of 1973 as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Experience providing consultant services in the area of reasonable accommodation. Must have technical skills to develop overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
