A medical receptionist is an integral part of a high functioning healthcare team. Doctors, nurses, and other medical and administrative staff members rely on the medical receptionist to create a friendly, welcoming and well-organized front office for patients and to facilitate their flow through the facility. We are looking for a dynamic front-end presence, and our client is eager to provide training for someone who brings enthusiasm and reliability to the table. In this role, you will be trained to check patients in and out, answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurances, collect copays and other related duties. Location: Must be willing to float between 4 different offices in Rochester area: Gates, Irondequoit, Brighton, and Victor.
Hourly Rate: $15.50-20, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including a fully paid health insurance plan, paid time off and a 401K!
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00AM and 7:00PM. You may be asked to work approximately 1 Saturday a month, 8AM-12PM.
Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
One year of customer service or reception/phones experience is required. No medical experience needed!
Strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task are a must!
