How you'll make an impact in this role
Provide assistance in computer searches, inter-library loans, cataloging, reference, acquisitions, and system development and maintenance.
Provide reference, research, and document delivery services to support information needs of patrons.
Administer and maintain library collection including electronic books and journals, reports and bibliographic tools to ensure an adequate and up-to-date collection that meets the practice educational and research-related needs of healthcare providers and associates.
Data and content management including linking of resources and API.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
Master degree from an accredited university or college with 5-10 years medical or academic health librarian experience
Experience with budget management, collection development including procurement, expert health and or medical research experience, including expert literature or systematic search health database skills
Demonstrated virtual service, education and orientation experience, electronic content management, cataloging and creation of educational materials and library guides
Remote work experience
