About the position
Hillside Medical Group is seeking a Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a medical front office environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as well as proficiency in Office 365. The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively is crucial in this fast-paced environment, where providing the highest level of patient care is a priority. Candidates must also be familiar with HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance. As a Front Office Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing multiple phone lines with professionalism, checking in patients, and collecting copays, deductibles, and coinsurance. You will also be tasked with posting payments, scanning medical records into patient charts, and collecting and inputting patient demographics, including insurance information. Maintaining a professional and organized front desk is vital, as is scheduling new and existing patients. Additionally, you must be willing to cross-train to perform various front office duties as assigned by the supervisor and office manager.
