Provide expert medical guidance and oversight for pediatric patients with infectious diseases.
Serve as a leader and advocate for the health and well-being of children.
Uphold the mission of Cigna to improve the health, well-being, and peace of mind of those we serve.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to putting patients first.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients with infectious diseases.
Stay up-to-date on the latest research, treatments, and guidelines related to pediatric infectious diseases.
Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues regarding treatment plans and progress.
Act as a resource and consultant for other healthcare providers regarding pediatric infectious diseases.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to patient care.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of pediatric infectious diseases.
Serve as a mentor and role model for other healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to promote awareness and prevention of pediatric infectious diseases.
