Medical Billing & Coding Expert Needed for US Healthcare
We are a US-based company looking to hire an experienced Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to work with our team remotely. The role involves handling billing, coding, and insurance claims for US healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes accurately
• Prepare and submit insurance claims (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers)
• Manage denials, rejections, and follow-ups
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Maintain billing records and generate reports
Requirements:
• Proven experience in medical billing and/or coding (2+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare reimbursement systems
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Kareo, Athena, DrChrono, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• CPC, CCS, or other recognized certification is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work US hours if needed
