This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with occasional time in our office, and provides a competitive salary of $18 per hour. About the Role As a Medical Billing and Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals with the processing of medical claim appeals. This is a 100% remote opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. You will be responsible for performing administrative tasks, providing project support, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Enter and manage data from various sources into the database, ensuring accuracy and completeness Analyze cases and perform research to support the decision-making process Generate and verify reports Perform other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this opportunity, you must: Be a resident of New York State Have experience in healthcare, preferably in medical billing or claims Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Be proficient in database management and reporting tools Have excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems Knowledge of medical terminology and coding Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance Training and Support We are committed to providing our team members with the training and support they need to succeed.
