Medical Biller (USA Healthcare) - EST Working Hours

ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is a global BPO company partnering with a U.S.-based client in the healthcare sector. We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Medical Biller with a strong background in the U.S. healthcare industry to join our remote team.To excel in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of U.S. medical billing software and a strong understanding of U.S. medical insurance policies.PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Working Hours:This role requires you to work USA hours, Mon - Fri, from 9am to 6pm EST time (16h00pm to 01h00am South African time - subject to change depending on daylight savings)Work Environment:This is a fully remote working role.Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.Responsibilities:Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companiesEnsuring each patient’s medical information is accurate and up to datePreparing bills and invoices and document amounts due to medical procedures and servicesVerify insurance coverage and eligibilityCommunicate with healthcare providers regarding billing practicesFollow up on unpaid claims and denialsEnsure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and guidelinesMaintain patient confidentiality and privacyMaintain accurate records on customer interactions, transaction, feedback, etc.Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issuesProvides customer support through different communication channels (Phone, email, chat)Resolve issues & accommodate customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction with products or servicesRequirementsWhat we are looking for in a candidate:Exceptional English communication skills;Strong work ethic;A fast learner;Excellent problem-solving abilities.If you are not contacted within 14 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
