Medical Biller - Payment Poster (Remote)

Job Description: Are you passionate about healthcare billing and looking for a remote opportunity where your skills in payment posting can shine? OSIS is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Biller with Payment Posting experience to join our fully remote team. This role plays a critical part in executing revenue cycle workflows and ensuring optimal collections for our RCR Members and Customers. What You’ll Do As a Billing Technician I, you’ll be at the heart of our revenue cycle operations, with a strong emphasis on payment posting. Your responsibilities will include: • Posting payments and managing accounts receivable (AR) transactions with precision • Handling patient and payer communications to resolve billing inquiries • Navigating federal, state, and payer websites for billing tasks • Participating in ongoing training to stay current with coding and billing regulations • Researching and analyzing payer-specific requirements to ensure compliance • Collaborating across departments to support Member needs and build strong relationships • Contributing to workflow analysis and best practices using NextGen PM Schedule & Travel • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET • Occasional evening/weekend work may be required What You Bring Required: • 1+ years of billing experience, especially in payment posting • Familiarity with clearinghouses and healthcare portals • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding • Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred: • Experience with FQHC, dental, or behavioral health billing • Proficiency in MS Excel • Hands-on experience with NextGen EPM, EDR, and Optical • NextGen Certified Professional (or willingness to certify within 6 months) Remote Work Requirements This is a fully remote position.
