Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis LLC (MD&A) is a world class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs for steam, gas, and industrial turbines and generators. We lead the industry by offering high-quality, on-schedule, and cost-effective services, parts, and repairs which result in repeat business and positive customer feedback – we are known for our knowledge and experience.The Sales & Marketing Division is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to sell power generation maintenance services, repairs, and parts in the utility and industrial markets within the Northeast USA & Eastern Canada region. MD&A will offer the qualified individual a competitive base salary with an additional incentive-based compensation program. The position can be worked from a home office within the Northeast region which includes the following states: New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The Northeast Regional Sales Manager will also provide sales coverage for the Eastern Canada provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for managing sales efforts in the Northeast Region with the overall goal of achieving pre-determined sales and other defined objectives on an annual basis. Understand and work client organizations, processes, barriers, and energy market dynamics.Develop opportunities and close orders. Leverage entire team to facilitate closing business.Develop expertise across the total MD&A product line. Work with MD&A offerings and divisions to find solutions to address customer needs.Participate in pre-bid, site walk, pre/post-outage, technical presentation, and key industry technical events. Provide competitive guidance and market intelligence to support the bidding process. Work with the Sales Director to develop annual territory plans, progress reports, and reviews. Provide weekly sales reports / updates / forecasts and opportunity tracking. Maintain and build strong client relationships. Travel between 50 and 75%.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school; Engineering degree preferred.Strong demonstrated familiarity with Gas & Steam Turbine-Generator technology.Minimum 5-10 years in sales and technical field service experience with Siemens, Westinghouse, and/or GE for installations, parts, repair, and maintenance services within the power generation industry.Excellent communication skills; confidence with customer presentations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.MD&A is dedicated to attracting and retaining world-class talent and providing tools and resources for a successful career.
