McLeod Systems Analyst
DescriptionThe McLeod Systems Analyst, known internally as TMS Specialist, is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and optimization of the McLeod Software platform, including LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker. This role serves as the bridge between transportation operations and IT, ensuring the system supports efficient load planning, dispatch, billing, and settlement processes while enabling scalability and integration across the enterprise.Essential Job DutiesAdminister and support the McLeod Software platform, including LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker, Ancillary and API program integrationConfigure and maintain system settings such as rating, customer contracts, carrier profiles, dispatch workflows, and settlement rulesManage order lifecycle processes including order entry, dispatch, tracking, invoicing, and driver/carrier settlementTroubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and user-reported problems; coordinate with McLeod support as neededLead or support system enhancements, upgrades, and module implementations (e.g., EDI, document imaging, mobile/ELD integrations)Oversee EDI/API integrations with customers, carriers, and third-party platforms (visibility tools, telematics, etc.)Partner with operations, accounting, and customer service teams to optimize workflows and improve system utilizationDevelop reporting and dashboards using McLeod tools, SQL, or BI platformsMaintain data integrity across customers, carriers, rates, and financial transactionCreate and maintain SOPs, system documentation, and user training materialsTrain new users and provide ongoing support to maximize adoption and efficiencyRequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelorās degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeMinimum of 3 years of experience supporting, administering, configuring, or optimizing a Transportation Management System (TMS) in a transportation, brokerage, logistics, or supply chain environmentHands-on experience working with McLeod (LoadMaster) and PowerBroker in a system support, analyst, administrator, or super-user capacityExperience supporting core transportation workflows such as order entry, dispatch, tracking, invoicing, billing, and driver/carrier settlementExperience troubleshooting system issues, data discrepancies, and user-reported problems and driving issues through resolutionExperience working with cross-functional business partners such as operations, accounting, customer service, and IT to improve workflows and system utilizationExperience creating and maintaining SOPs, system documentation, training materials, and/or delivering end-user trainingExperience supporting or coordinating system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or integrations within a TMS or related platformStrong understanding of transportation operations (brokerage and/or asset-based)Experience with rating, dispatch, settlements, and financial workflows within McLeodFamiliarity with EDI transactions (204, 214, 210) and API integrationsAbility to troubleshoot complex system and operational issuesStrong working knowledge of McLeod Software, including LoadMaster and/or PowerBrokerExperience configuring and maintaining TMS elements such as carrier profiles, rating structures, dispatch workflows, and settlement rulesWorking knowledge of EDI/API integrations, reporting tools, Excel, SQL, and data integrity practicesExperience with transportation-related integrations such as document imaging, mobile/ELD tools, visibility platforms, telematics, or similar connected systemsAbility to develop reports and analyze data using McLeod reporting tools, Excel, SQL, and/or BI toolsStrong data analysis skillsAbility to troubleshoot complex system and operational issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutionsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive operational and financial data accuratelyAbility to translate business needs into system solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical usersStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departmentsAbility to train users, support adoption, and promote consistent use of system processes and best practicesProcess optimization and continuous improvement mindsetStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of McLeod modules such as DocumentPower, EDI, LoadMaster EnterpriseProject management experienceExperience in both brokerage and asset-based transportation environmentsExperience with McLeod modules such as DocumentPower, EDI, LoadMaster Enterprise, or Web DispatchExperience with SQL query writing, SSMS, SSRS, or BI dashboard developmentExperience supporting integrations with accounting systems, tracking platforms, telematics, or customer-specific interfacesExperience leading TMS upgrades, implementations, or workflow optimization initiativesDeep functional expertise in McLeod workflowsWhy The Evans Network of Companies (ENOC) is DifferentAt ENOC, weāre more than a workplaceāweāre a family.
