Job title: Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master - REMOTE Company: Matrix Resources Job description: This nationwide insurance industry leader has an immediate 6-12+ month contract opportunity for a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master. Can work 100% remotely from anywhere in the United States, working CST hours. This position requires extensive experience with Agile and Scrum models. Will be responsible for ensuring that all information technology solutions and services meet company standards and user requirements. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree • 4-8 years of project management experience in an Agile environment. • 3-5+ years experience as a Scrum Master. • PMP and Certified Scrum Master Certification (SCM) strongly preferred. • Excellent written and verbal skills • Ongoing education required in project/program management discipline required. • Effective written and verbal communications in a professional manner to management, business partners, associates, and external resources. • Insurance industry experience is a plus. Responsibilities include: • Managing multiple medium to large projects • Creating and monitoring project budgets and project plans • Identifying, documenting and escalating issues, risks and dependencies • Responsible for stakeholder, steering committee and project sponsor reports and communications • Communicating to project sponsors and senior-level management • Significant Product Experience across all lines of business • Assisting with the creation of the business case • Defining and clarifying project scope • Developing and monitoring the project plan, project schedule and budget • Monitoring project progress • Determining the organizational structure of the project team • Identifying roles and responsibilities • Setting team direction • Coordinating activities across different organizational functions • Motivating team members • Assigning work and delivering results consistent with plans • Reporting and communicating effectively to project team, sponsors and management Expected salary: Location: USA Apply for the job now!
