Key Responsibilities:
Teach assigned classes using the educational philosophy and policies adopted by the Board of Education
Utilize State and District curriculum guidelines to plan and implement a program of study that meets students' needs, interests, and abilities
Identify students with special learning problems and take appropriate action to support their development
Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to promote students' academic and behavioral progress
Maintain accurate records, make reports as necessary, and pursue opportunities for professional growth
Requirements:
Middle Level Math certification or eligibility for State of Delaware Certification
Ability to stand and work continuously for a minimum of 4 hours per workday
Minimum lifting requirements: 50 pounds (with assistance)
Ability to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students
