Math Tutor (SSAT/ISEE/HSPT) - Remote Opportunity with Competitive Pay ($30-$50/hr)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Math Tutor to join our team of educators at TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs. As a Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing personalized in-person tutoring sessions, creating customized lesson plans, and helping them achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person tutoring sessions to students preparing for the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams, focusing on math subjects
Design and execute tailored lesson plans to meet individual students' needs and learning styles
Administer practice exams, evaluate student progress, and adjust lesson plans accordingly
Collaborate with students' families to keep them informed of progress and provide regular updates
Stay up-to-date with changes in the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams and modify lesson plans as needed
Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Mathematics, or related field)
Experience in tutoring, teaching, or test preparation, with a focus on math subjects
Past experience teaching the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams is highly desirable, but not required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with students and families
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as well as the ability to work independently and remotely as needed
Self-motivated and committed to helping students succeed, with a passion for education and a growth mindset
