Description
Everi's Math Team is responsible for producing the designs and math models behind our hit games. As a Quality Assurance Math Analyst II, you would be responsible for validating math models and their accompanying documentation for accuracy, compliance, and functional integrity.
What Will You Be Doing?
Ā Analyze algorithms for games and applications
Ā Validate gaming probabilities, statistics and payout tables, analysis of game performance, and simulations of game results
Ā Interpret, analyze, and evaluate a variety of rules and design documents
Ā Verify full implementation and performance of math design, ensuring achievement of expected results
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
Ā 5+ years' in a Math or QA embedded role; if only QA background then gaming industry preferred
Ā Background and understanding of reviewing TypeScript, JavaScript, and Visual Studio code
Ā Strong knowledge of probability and statistical analysis
Ā In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Ā Experience with standard defect tracking, test case management, and test execution tools preferred
Nice to have:
Ā A background in Math is highly desirable.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $31.75 - $38.50/per hour and is overtime eligible.
