Job Responsibilities
As a Math Instructor II / Tutor II, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality math education to students of all ages and skill levels. Your key responsibilities will include:
Teaching and tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method??, terminology, and teaching practices
Working collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each student
Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, using data and feedback to inform instruction
Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes, leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience
Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment, adhering to Mathnasium's high standards for quality and excellence
Qualifications
We're looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual who shares our passion for math education. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A passion for math and working with students, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Eagerness to learn and be trained, with a growth mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional development
The ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities and managing your time effectively
The ability to teach effectively through Pre-Calculus, with a strong foundation in math and a willingness to learn and adapt
A minimum College Sophomore standing, with 1-3 years of experience working in a tutoring, teaching, or mentoring role (preferred)
