Join us as a Materials Planner Buyer to drive efficiency and impact by planning and procuring materials to meet business demands. In this role, you'll manage material planning, aligning with MTS/MTO models and planning policies. You’ll own key planning parameters (lead times, ABC, IQR), monitor supplier performance, and place daily orders. You'll also adjust for inventory and service level changes, keeping schedulers and production teams in sync.

What You Will Do
• Materials Planning:
• Optimize purchase and transfer quantities using MOQ, lot sizes, supplier pricing, and demand forecasts.
• Maintain accurate min/max and safety stock levels in inventory systems.
• Ensure material availability by reviewing and releasing planned orders daily from both min/max and supply plans.
• Manage supply exceptions, update due dates, and proactively resolve inbound order issues.
• Analyze excess inventory and implement corrective actions to reduce and prevent overstock.
• Purchase Order (PO) Administration:
• Convert requisitions into POs using Oracle; route low-risk purchases via corporate P-Card when applicable.
• Confirm and update PO details with suppliers; expedite as needed to meet production schedules.
• Monitor open orders daily and resolve issues, including invoice discrepancies and AP problems.
• Collaborate with Finance to update charge accounts and ensure requisitions are not stalled.
• Ensure timely material delivery by coordinating with suppliers, logistics, and warehouse teams.
• Close POs promptly in response to client requests.
• Supplier Management:
• Share forecasts and stay ahead of supplier capacity constraints.
• Manage returns, trace corrective actions, and maintain accurate quality/delivery records in Oracle.
• Ensure up-to-date supplier performance data per internal policies.
• Projects & Process Improvement:
• Lead and support cross-functional projects aligned with global supply chain goals.
• Identify and implement purchasing process improvements using data-driven analysis and root cause problem-solving.
• Update PO details and coordinate Engineering Change Notices with suppliers to ensure smooth transitions.

What You Will Bring
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience: 1-3 years in purchasing or materials planning role, placing and managing purchase orders and supporting production schedules.
• Manufacturing Environment Experience: Understanding of material flow and production requirements.
• Oracle or ERP Skills: Ability to review supply plans, release POs, and manage exceptions.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking.

What We Can Offer You
• Competitive Pay & Benefits: Enjoy a robust Total Rewards Program that includes health, financial benefits, and more.
• Work-Life Balance: Flexible work options to help you achieve the perfect work-life balance. This role will require you to be in the office 50% of the time (schedule based on manager's discretion).
• Generous Time Off: Take advantage of our generous vacation, sick days, holidays, plus a volunteer day to give back to the community.
• Retirement & Growth: 401(k) match, profit sharing, and abundant growth and development opportunities to help you advance your career.
• Parental Leave: Because we care about your family and your future.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $80,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
