Material Handler/Forklift Operator
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Receive in material and supply shipments.
? Verify received quantities and receive in system.
? Clean, organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas.
? Perform regular inspections on warehouse equipment.
? Count inventory quantities and report re-order points for supplies.
? Utilize safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate Supervisor.
? Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas.
? Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
? Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
? Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
? Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
? 1+ years of Shipping, Receiving, and/ or Inventory experience
? Forklift experience preferred but not required.
? Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
? Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
? Ability to learn material types and names.
? Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
? Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
? Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, and Push, Pull for 10 - 12 hours daily.
? Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
? Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) for 10 - 12 hours daily.
? Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required.
? Ability to obtain forklift certification through NOV's HSE approved forklift certification course.
? Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
