Volt is immediately hiring for Material Handler in Hillsboro, TX.
As a Material Handler, you will:
Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility using hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.
Prepare customer orders in the system (e.g., SAP, FEDEX) and physically.
Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process.
Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
Label every product and place them accordingly.
Manage inventory for receiving and shipping.
Support and fill in for Warehouse Clerk in their absence.
Work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time opportunity. Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
ERP knowledge preferred.
At least 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
Forklift driving experience.
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
Experience with shipping FedEx is a plus.
Ability to operate hand tools, forklifts, and other lifting and securing devices.
Attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operations issues.
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
