Maryland-Barred Attorney (Part-Time, Remote) – Estate Planning, Business & Tax - Contract to Hire
Our growing law firm is seeking a Maryland-barred attorney to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 5–7 hours per week). This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling.
We are looking for a sharp, dependable attorney with experience in estate planning, business matters, tax issues, and/or debt collection and business litigation.
Practice Areas Include:
Estate planning (wills, trusts, basic administration support)
Business formation and contracts
Business litigation support
Tax-related matters (state and/or federal)
Debt collection and debtor-side representation
Responsibilities:
Draft and review legal documents
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
Assist with strategy on Maryland-based matters
Communicate with clients as needed
Support litigation and transactional work
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Bar license in good standing
Experience in at least two of the listed practice areas
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional, responsive, and organized
Position Details:
