POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist position will support our marketing team in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for project management, administrative support, coordinating meetings, managing project schedules and budgets, drafting marketing deliverables, ensuring quality control, and compiling data-driven reports.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Project Management & Administration:
? Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
? Track and manage marketing budgets, invoices, and expenses with attention to financial accountability
? Maintain marketing project documentation, including workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
? Assist in coordinating team resources, ensuring effective distribution and task management.
? Identify potential project risks and assist in implementing solutions to mitigate delays or issues
? Provide administrative support to the marketing leadership team, handling correspondence, scheduling, and organizational tasks

Marketing Support & Content Development:
? Assist in drafting and editing marketing deliverables, including presentations, proposals, and promotional materials
? Support the creation and distribution of email campaigns, social media content, and website updates
? Conduct proofreading and quality control to maintain brand consistency and accuracy
? Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure alignment with brand messaging

Data Gathering & Reporting:
? Collect, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
? Assist in audience and market research to support strategic marketing initiatives
? Maintain databases and document marketing activities for internal tracking and reporting
? Generate reports and insights to support decision-making within the marketing team
? Additional tasks as assigned by leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field preferred
? 2-4 years of experience in marketing, project management or administrative support preferred
? Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (Trello, Asana, or similar)
? Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus
? Experience in budget tracking, workflow management, and process optimization
? Passion for sports, recreation, and community engagement
? Experience managing social media accounts and developing digital marketing strategies.
? Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot.
? Strong document creation and formatting skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
? Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling content for various audiences.
? Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.
