Marketing & Sales Specialist

Hydro, Inc. is a global industrial pump re-engineering company located in the West Loop in Chicago. They are seeking a Marketing Specialist in their Nuclear Division to develop sales leads for the outside sales team and communicate with established nuclear industry customers. The role involves extensive prospecting, initiating cold calls, and supporting marketing campaigns.ResponsibilitiesGenerate sales leads through extensive prospecting and making sales calls consistentlyInitiate communication with a variety of our nuclear industry customersUtilize social media sites for marketing in the nuclear industry to reach new customersDevelop engaging conversations with customers and display a professional demeanorWork closely with Account Managers and Graphics DepartmentContinue to learn more about Hydro’s product and company cultureSupport and help organize marketing campaignsCollect campaign communications such as postcards, emails, company videos and make follow up calls while referencing those postcards/emailsTrack postcards and emails using our analytic softwareRespond to inquiries from external sourcesOrganize a timeline and follow up on the scheduled due datesEnter and maintain updated data into our InforCRM systemPerform all other duties as assignedSkillsStrong customer service and communication skillsConfident and willing to initiate and engage in conversations with plant personnelPersevere with a positive attitudeStrong oral and written expression and comprehensionKnowledge of principles of marketing and sales techniques and tacticsStrong technology skills and experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media platforms as professional marketing sitesHighly detail-orientedHigh levels of organizationAbility to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyWork effectively in a remote capacityAttend occasional in person, local meetings at the corporate office in the West Loop as requested by your manager1-2 years' experience working in a marketing/sales roleExperience using InforCRM or other CRM preferred, but not requiredBachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferredRelevant experience in outside sales, marketing, and business development highly valuedMarketing: 1 year (Preferred)Generating sales leads: 1 year (Preferred)Customer communication: 1 year (Preferred)Benefits401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planCompany OverviewHydro is an engineering company that provides pump repair and support services.
