Marketing & Sales Associate

They are seeking a full-time Marketing & Sales Associate to support the administrative operations of the Sales & Marketing team, focusing on the IV Drugs department and assisting in the development of marketing materials and corporate communications.ResponsibilitiesIs responsible for all administrative functions required for the overall smooth operation of the Marketing and Sales team within the IV Drugs departmentIs responsible for the administrative management of sponsorships/honorariums/educational support requests and remittancesTracks and catalogs all marketing expenditures (including promotional materials, sponsorships, conference/trade shows, etc.) to ensure they stay within allotted budgetsFacilitates internal and external coordination of conferences, conventions and Continuing Health Education events all while working within the constraints of a predetermined budget with minimal or no supervisionWorks in conjunction with Marketing and Sales teams and creative agency to initiate, oversee and produce promotional and advertising material for conventions, sales meetings and conferencesPrepares the required support materials (e.g. binders, reservations, announcements, teasers etc.) for conventions and conferences within the required deadlinesIs responsible for maintaining and updating product information on the websiteManages product samples for Marketing which includes organizing, cataloging and distribution to sales representativesIs responsible for communicating monthly website updatesAssists with special marketing projects as required (e.g. residency program, special feature articles, etc.)Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments including but not limited to: Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Scientific Affairs as applicableExternally there is interaction with doctors, pharmacists, executives, Marketing and Sales personnel and vendorsActs as the backup to the Social Media Manager for daily monitoring and associated vigilance activities when requiredMaintains up-to-date training designated for this position and training documents for reporting positions via internal training platformsEnsures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and Adverse Drug Reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating ProceduresPosition requires travel within Canada up to 5%Rarely, may require working on the odd weekendSkillsWord, Excel and PowerPoint experience requiredMathematical aptitude is requiredUniversity Degree (business and/or marketing preferred)Outstanding organization skills – you live and breath itExcellent communication (written and verbal)Professionalism and good grammar requiredExcellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organizationStrong computer skills in Microsoft ® Office.
