• Cultivate strong author and agent relationships through proactive communication, clear strategic direction, and comprehensive performance reporting.
• Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook to drive audience growth, engagement, and sales.
• Identify and define target audiences through market research and competitive analysis, translating insights into multi-channel strategies spanning digital advertising, influencer partnerships, pre-order promotion, and more.
• Conceptualize, write, and oversee the production of digital marketing assets, including social and newsletter graphics, landing pages, and bonus content, managing timelines and cross-functional approvals to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns, monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize ROI.
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute imprint-level brand marketing initiatives, including generating ideas for imprint-owned social channels and leading creative campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience growth.
Please apply if you meet the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of marketing experience; book publishing experience strongly preferred
• Genuine interest in nonfiction publishing, especially in business, politics, current events, history and psychology categories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative spirit and desire to learn and grow in the position
• Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, manage time effectively, and keep projects moving independently
• Ability to think strategically and creatively about each unique project
• Interest in exploring new trends, audiences, platforms, and tools, and testing new tactics for reaching readers
• Experience running digital ads
