Marketing Communications Analyst

DeepRoots Bible is seeking a Marketing Communications Analyst to enhance their marketing initiatives. The role involves writing compelling marketing content, managing social media, coordinating email campaigns, and supporting visual content creation to engage educators and administrators effectively. Responsibilities Write compelling marketing copy (social posts, email campaigns, landing page copy, promotional materials, marketing video scripts) Write ministry-focused, encouraging content in a warm, direct, and genuine tone Write specifically to teachers and administrators, understanding what matters most to them Adapt tone depending on context (sales vs. encouragement vs. informational) Develop and publish content that speaks directly to educators and administrators Use templates and graphic design tools to create posts and short-form videos Engage with followers and aligned accounts Track engagement and assist in monitoring performance Coordinate the email campaign process from drafting to distribution Write or edit copy for email campaigns Help build and maintain email lists within the email marketing platform Assist with audience segmentation Track open rates, click-through rates, and engagement metrics Help maintain brand consistency across channels Use templates and design tools to support visual content creation Demonstrate strong visual judgment Represent the organization at conferences and conventions alongside other team members Assist in gathering feedback and insights from partners Support efforts to build positive relationships with partners Assist in building and updating website pages in WordPress Update existing content and support ongoing website improvements Help ensure information is clear and accessible for partners and prospective partners Track basic marketing metrics across platforms Assist in gathering partner feedback and insights Help organize marketing data and reports Skills Devoted to Jesus Christ as a Born-Again Christian, who fully supports the DeepRoots Statement of Faith and performs in such a way as to fulfill the ministry mission statement Participates in a local Christian church as a member in good standing Displays spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities that reflect Christ and His character Possesses a deep and thorough knowledge of the Bible and a commitment to relying upon the Holy Spirit for wisdom and power Committed to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) according to Christ's command and refuses to cooperate with false gospels Eye for biblical and theological accuracy according to DeepRoots' theological philosophy 1+ years professional experience or a college degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field A basic understanding of marketing strategies, language, and advertisement design principles Strong writing skills (marketing copy and audience-specific messaging) Excellent grammar, clarity, and attention to detail Comfortable learning and navigating digital platforms Willingness to understand the purpose behind marketing initiatives and execute tasks accordingly Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with partners (customers) Able to work well in a fast-paced environment Able to be flexible and pivot quickly when new priorities arise Good file organization skills Close attention to detail and a drive for excellence with the ability to recognize when 'good enough' is good enough Good time management skills in balancing multiple projects with varying deadlines and priorities Willingness to learn and ability to research answers independently Able to implement instructions and changes and take constructive criticism with a good attitude Good communication skills by communicating frequently and clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and outside organizations if applicable A basic familiarity with graphic design/video editing tools A basic familiarity with data analytics platforms A basic familiarity with social media platforms and general algorithm concepts Bachelor's Degree required Familiar with Google Workspace The ability to remain in a seated or stationary position for a significant portion of the workday The ability to see details at close range and to hear and speak clearly to communicate with colleagues and clients Benefits Mileage reimbursement is provided.
