Manhattan WMS Developer (Python )
Overview
We are looking for a WMOS Software Engineer/Developer to join our team In this role, you will work with business partners to develop, test, and document software enhancements for our new WMS implementation.
Role: Manhattan WMS Developer
Location : Remote
Longterm Contract
The successful candidate will:
Lead design, configuration, implementation, and support of Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management Systems & Python development.
Be familiar with Kafka, Kubernetes, MHEs, and sorters
Analyze and optimize components of the solution to take advantage of best practices
Work with all appropriate parties to effectively estimate project timelines and deliverables
Recognize and highlight incremental improvement opportunities
Troubleshoot and identify root cause for issues. Liaise between Business and Product Vendors for coordination of issue resolution
Coordinate with offshore resources, attend handshake meetings where work is assigned to ensure development and other deliverables are worked upon during offshore hours
Review system design a to make sure that the designs fully meet the business requirements
Required Qualifications
5+ years working knowledge of Python development & PL SQL.
Led at least two Manhattan Associates WMS implementations
Preferred Qualifications
Prior WMS design experience
Knowledge of Manhattan Warehouse Management for Open Systems 2019 or later
