Job Description: Manhattan Active WMS REMOTE (USA) The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, Enterprise Architecture-compliant solutions that support complex warehouse operations and supply chain initiatives. This role specializes in Manhattan Active WMS, including configuration, debugging, technical integration with MHE systems, and additional skill around WMS code development using the ProActive framework. Key Responsibilities: Architect end-to-end solutions for Manhattan Active WMS, including detailed design, configuration, build, testing, and production support. Lead configuration efforts across Manhattan Active WMS modules to meet complex operational workflows. Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in Manhattan Active environments, serving as an escalation point for warehouse application support. Design and integrate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) software solutions/platforms, ensuring technical compatibility and seamless data exchange with Manhattan systems. Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand warehouse and distribution requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Participate in discovery and assessment activities to recommend enhancements, vendor tools, or custom solutions across the warehouse technology stack. Develop and maintain scripts using the Manhattan Active ProActive framework to support low-code logic, automation, event handling, and integration. Design and deliver SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) reports to support operations analytics, KPIs, and executive dashboards. Author Technical Design Documents aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards and supply chain industry best practices. Support integration between Manhattan applications and enterprise platforms such as ERP, TMS, MHE, and Robotics software. Provide leadership throughout the build, testing, deployment, and Hypercare phases. Document solution designs, decision rationale, and project artifacts; lead knowledge transfer to support and operations teams. Collaborate with Enterprise and Domain Architects to evolve design patterns and warehouse technology strategy. Promote best practices in warehouse system architecture, including automation and performance optimization strategies. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 8+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect with in-depth hands-on experience in Manhattan Active WMS. Strong knowledge of Manhattan Active configuration, debugging, and technical MHE integration with WMS. Experience with Manhattan ProActive development to enable low-code WMS customization will be an advantage. Solid background in the retail or supply chain industry, with deep domain knowledge of warehouse operations. Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions across complex enterprise environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
