American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Performance & Insights to identify, optimize, and implement channel integration initiatives in order to drive sustainable profitable growth in a compliant manner. Analyze customer data to develop data-driven business strategies. Diagnose business needs and establish analytical hypotheses and solutions leveraging Big Data and business intelligence tools and platforms. Refine business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methodologies to permit strategic decision-making by senior leadership. Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic priorities. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with analyzing customer data to identify trends and develop business strategies. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: analyzing complex financial datasets and performing data mining to identify commercial trends; developing data-based strategic initiatives to enhance business performance; presenting data-driven analyses to technical and non-technical teams; creating and maintaining business intelligence systems, including MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Access databases; data visualization tools, including MS Excel, Tableau, and Snowflake; and Agile methodologies, C++, ER-win, MySQL Server, Python, R, RDBMS, SAS, Scrum methodologies, and SQL. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
