We're looking for an outstanding Workforce Strategy & Analytics Manager to help define & implement workforce planning models for KinderCare's family of brands.

As an integral part of our Corporate Strategy team, you'll guide the transformation of KinderCare's labor models to provide the best experience for staff, families, and students. You'll work cross-functionally with finance and operations teams to lead the optimization and adoption of our organization’s labor practices and behaviors as a trusted business partner with strong business operation fundamentals, analytical skills, & financial acumen.

Responsibilities:

Leadership
• Lead the workforce strategy labor team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment focused on delivering strategic, data-driven solutions.
• Set clear goals, prioritize initiatives, and align team efforts with broader organizational strategy.
• Champion cross-functional partnerships to ensure labor strategies are aligned with business needs.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership, translating complex workforce insights into actionable recommendations.

Labor Modeling & Budgeting
• Own the models that drive labor budgets across our family of brands.
• Develop new labor models using data to create financial and operational budgets, while ensuring a positive experience for center staff, families, and students.
• Partner with Center Operations to drive adoption of labor models.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to budget labor expenses and forecast labor fluctuations on a weekly basis.
• Analyze trends in daily or weekly labor management to help guide field partners to make business decisions that provide for the best outcomes for students, staff, families, and the business.

Workforce Management System Implementation
• Support configuration & implementation of new workforce management system across the fleet of centers and across brands.
• Partner with the Center Operations team in the development & deployment of labor tools & training that allow centers to operate efficiently & are easy to understand and implement for the field.

Qualifications:
• Degree in business, finance, operations management, or related field.
• 5+ years in workforce planning, operations finance, or related field.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Experience leading and building workforce planning models for a large population of hourly workers, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
• Able to proactively make recommendations based on data insights.
• Excellent financial foresight and modeling, with the ability to understand P&L drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationships in large organizations & influence business partners towards better business outcomes.
• Experience in workforce planning systems such as Legion, Workday, or Anaplan.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to summarize complex trends for communication with all levels of leadership.
• Leadership skills, with ability to coach and mentor direct reports and others.
• Database management & data visualization experience preferred.
• Excellent ability to build strong internal relationships & communicate across cross-functional teams.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable leveraging large and complex datasets to drive decisions and a passion for continuous testing and optimization.
• Highly motivated & intellectually curious; self-starter.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.
