About the Role We're seeking an experienced Manager, UX Content Design to lead our team of content designers in creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences. As a manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping the content design strategy, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of content designers to distill complex product goals into simple and intuitive experiences Collaborate with cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives with a solid focus on outcomes Drive content recommendations that optimize a simplified, tailored user experience Build collaborative relationships across disciplines, including Engineering, Product, Design, Research, Marketing, and Data Science Align with product and UX leadership across the organization to help inform future roadmaps and turn vision into reality Establish and communicate content best practices, ensure compliance with guidelines, and oversee the creation of information architecture frameworks, content models, content audits, etc. Help define and evangelize the role of UX Content Design at Indeed and in the broader community of design professionals Essential Qualifications: 7+ years of professional experience working in product user experience, with a focus on content strategy, content design, UX writing, UX design, or similar experience 2+ years of managing local and remote teams Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, facilitating, and executive communication skills Proven ability to steer major UX projects, from design strategy through execution, with measurable business impact Experience creating content models, wireframes, information architecture maps, guidelines, and other content frameworks Proven analytical, project management, and decision-making skills Bachelor's Degree in a related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment Familiarity with design systems and content design tools Experience with Agile development methodologies Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles What We Offer At Indeed, we're committed to providing a comprehensive compensation package that includes: Competitive salary range: $140,000 - $241,000 USD per year, depending on location and experience Quarterly bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) Paid Time Off policy and 12 paid holidays a year Up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401k plan and equity-based incentive program Region-specific benefits and perks Our Culture and Values At Indeed, we value diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
