Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.Role DescriptionForm Energy is hiring a Manager of Test engineering to lead a team of test engineers and technicians to the heart of our core engineering team. As a leader on our Test team, you will lead electro-mechanical component verification efforts across different test platforms. You will collaborate on test stand and test vehicle development with partner teams and guide requirements, planning, executing and reporting out on qualification test plans.You and your team will be at the center of Form’s verification efforts, driving to commercialize our ground-breaking iron-air products. You will interface with cells, module and systems design teams, product teams, product and program management, coordinating or supporting important efforts in improving test quality as well as quantifying and qualifying cell and test performance.This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!Bring your world-class battery test knowledge, collaborative chops, sense of adventure and test-plan-jamming abilities.What you'll do:Resource and guide expectations for baseline experiments to quantify test platforms, test vehicle, and DUT capabilities; lead the team in gathering stakeholder input to generate control datasets for experimentation and modeling teamsBe accountable for quantifying repeatability and reproducibility test quality and reliability of test resultsFacilitate and lead team toward automating and integrating digitization with testing effortsSupport, develop, manage, and execute test plans and test protocols for verification processes. Steer continuous improvement processes and inform consumption of test reliability data for improving test infrastructure and test processes with partner teamsWhat you'll bring:4+ years as a manager of small technical teams (3-10 people; engineers, scientists, technicians), with a record of successful collaboration and effective delegationLeadership, and mentoring chops; a technical addition, and also a culture addition5+ years working in electrochemical device development or manufacturing, including batteries, fuel cells, supercapacitors, or electrolyzers where you honed your electrochemical test and data interpretation skillsA passion for hard problems, a desire to make an impact, the ability to lead from the front and the back#LI-Onsite #LI-JM2Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
