Legends, founded in 2008, operates globally across various divisions including Global Partnerships, Global Sales, Hospitality, and more, providing a comprehensive service solution platform to enhance brand experiences in sports and entertainment. The Staffing Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating staffing, new hire processing, and timekeeping functions under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager. This position is primarily focused on recruiting and staffing part-time seasonal staff and Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs), while also exploring innovative methods to attract hourly employees through partnerships with local community organizations and educational institutions. The Staffing Manager is tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with management to ensure that HR tasks align with business needs. This role involves creating proactive recruitment plans to ensure that the venue is consistently staffed with qualified hourly talent. Key responsibilities include reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, processing new hire paperwork, and onboarding, as well as coordinating training schedules for NPO volunteers to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. In addition to these responsibilities, the Staffing Manager will partner with operations teams to determine staffing levels, assist with scheduling part-time staff for events, and address employee relations issues. The role requires a commitment to representing Legends with integrity at community and industry events, ensuring compliance with operating standards, and developing staffing plans that adapt to evolving business needs. The ultimate goal is to attract, select, onboard, and retain a high-performing and diverse workforce.

Responsibilities
? Coordinate staffing, new hire processing, and timekeeping functions with oversight from the Human Resources Manager.

? Recruit part-time seasonal staff and Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) to meet staffing needs.

? Develop and maintain partnerships with local community organizations and colleges/universities to attract hourly employees.
,
? Review applications and resumes, and schedule interviews with hiring managers for final hiring decisions.
,
? Process new hire paperwork, onboarding, and submissions of background checks and drug screens.
,
? Build and maintain relationships with surrounding communities and employment agencies.
,
? Coordinate training schedules for NPO volunteers and deliver training on compliance with regulations.
,
? Schedule and supervise NPO groups on event days.
,
? Partner with operations teams to create staffing plans that include labor costs and targeted levels.
,
? Assist with scheduling part-time seasonal staff for all events.
,
? Interact with staff to resolve low-level staffing and employee relations issues, escalating as necessary.
,
? Develop and implement new staffing techniques to improve staff quality and quantity.
,
? Conduct new hire orientation and other HR training as needed.
,
? Represent Legends with integrity at community and industry events.
,
? Ensure compliance with Legends Operating Standards and HR policies.

Requirements
? High School diploma required.
,
? 4+ years of varied human resources and/or staffing experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
,
? Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organization.
,
? Ability to respond quickly to changing trends and circumstances, embracing change and learning from past mistakes.
,
? Strong organizational skills to manage projects and create resourceful workflows.
,
? Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
,
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.

? Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

? Ability to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
