About the Role: Reporting to the VP of Sourcing, the Sourcing Development Manager will play a critical role in bringing new products to market faster by leading sourcing execution throughout the new product development lifecycle. This position is responsible for driving supplier sourcing, quoting, costing, and sample development to support on-time, on-cost product launches.

As a key partner to Product Management and Product Development, this role works cross-functionally with three Product Managers, one Product Development Manager, and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure sourcing decisions align with product strategy, development timelines, and commercial targets. The Sourcing Development Manager serves as the primary sourcing lead during development, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum from concept through commercialization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sourcing professional who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment, enjoys building strong supplier partnerships, and wants to make a direct impact on speed-to-market, cost efficiency, and execution excellence across a growing product portfolio.

What You'll Do
• Own sourcing execution for new product development initiatives, supporting projects from early concept through launch handoff
• Lead supplier identification, onboarding, and development in partnership with overseas factories and global sourcing partners
• Manage prototype, pre-production, and final sample development; track progress, approvals, and revisions to maintain critical development timelines
• Own supplier quoting and costing processes, including MOQ alignment, lead times, negotiations, and cost trade-offs to support margin and launch targets
• Partner closely with Product Managers and the Product Development Manager to align sourcing decisions with product strategy, development milestones, and launch schedules
• Identify and proactively mitigate sourcing-related risks including capacity constraints, timeline risks, logistics challenges, and compliance requirements
• Ensure sourcing activities meet quality, regulatory, and compliance standards throughout development
• Maintain and manage sourcing documentation including costing files, BOMs, supplier details, and development notes to support seamless handoff to Product Management at commercialization
• Act as the primary sourcing point of contact during development, reducing reliance on Product Managers and Development leadership for day-to-day sourcing execution
• Support continuous improvement of sourcing and development processes to improve speed, cost efficiency, and execution consistency

Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of sourcing, supply chain, or product development experience within a CPG or consumer goods environment
• Hands-on experience working with overseas manufacturers and global supply chains
• Strong understanding of costing, MOQs, lead times, and supplier negotiations
• Proven ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with Product, Development, Design, and Operations teams
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver

Benefits:

We offer a competitive benefit package that includes:
• Major medical, dental, and vision benefits available day one no waiting period
• Company-paid life insurance and employee assistance program for all employees
• 401K with company match
• Employee discount on Ubique Group products
• Free office chair for remote employees
• Employee-led organization Ubique Cares engages in monthly and quarterly employee engagement activities packed with fun and giveaways!
• Ubique Group offers 9paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year and up to 18 Accrued PTO days per year
