Responsibilities Organize, lead and manage the day-to-day management of the project portfolio with project managers and team members to deliver high-quality, on time, on budget deliverables within project scope, and managing risks and resolution of issues as they ariseEnsure projects follow the established methodologies and are auditableFacilitate project financial and forecast reporting with project managersIdentify, secure and oversee the appropriate level of project management resources for projectsDevelop core project/program practices with a primary focus on driving business results through project management and the delivery of key projectsImplement project management best practices, theories and concepts and ensure that these practices are being used among project teamsProvide overall direction, goals and operating practices that promote a high performing teamConduct performance reviews, merit planning, coaching and handling performance/discipline issuesMentor and develop staff through regular communication, training, coaching and succession planningOversee and manage key cross-enterprise and vendor relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field4 years of related experienceAny amount of experience developing risk assessment frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate IT project risks, ensuring resolution of issuesAny amount of experience directing cross-functional global teams to deliver IT project deliverables within defined scope, timelines, and budgetsAny amount of experience implementing and utilizing project management tools (JIRA, MS Project) to track schedules, dependencies, and team progressAny amount of experience authoring and managing detailed IT project documentation, including requirements specifications, user stories, test cases, and traceability matricesAny amount of experience managing scope, stakeholder communications, and compliance with organizational standards for end-to-end IT project governanceAny amount of experience managing project budget consumption and forecast financial needs across all phases of the IT project lifecycle 100% remote position. Must live in AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL IN, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, NV, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or WY.Company
