The Card Site team in US Card is seeking a Manager level Project Manager. The Card Site team is the front door for customers shopping for and applying for credit cards with Capital One. The team is responsible for marketing the credit card products and optimizing the Site performance. To do that, the team runs hundreds of AB tests each year, while also making transformative investments in new technology to improve the customer experience and better help the tens of millions of prospective customers who visit the site find and book the right credit card. The candidate will work closely with the Card Site team and their key stakeholders and partners across the Card Business, Marketing, Technology, Platforms, Legal, Risk, and Design teams to help intake, prioritize, refine, and deliver intent to enable our collective organizational goals. The candidate needs to be skilled in managing stakeholder and customer expectations, while concurrently maintaining delivery momentum. You'll be driving forward projects based on defined priorities; ensuring deliverables are well defined; identifying risks and issues while mitigating and/or escalating as needed; and ensuring that all parties are meeting commitments on deliverables and timelines. General Responsibilities: • Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports. • Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements • Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time. • Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent • Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment. • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience • At least 4 years of Project Management experience • At least 1 year of experience managing multiple stakeholders across business functions Preferred Qualifications: • Masters Degree or MBA • 5+ years of Project Management experience • 1+ years of experience partnering with creative teams and developing marketing materials • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification • Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Chicago, IL: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management New York, NY: $165,700 - $189,200 for Manager, Project Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
