Overview:
The Manager Principal Engineering Marketing leads the architecture, development, and delivery of digital marketing and web platforms. This role drives engineering strategy, technical execution, and team leadership within a composable, API‑driven ecosystem, ensuring secure, scalable, and high‑performing platforms. They serve as the senior technical lead for solution architecture and implementation while managing and developing a high‑performing engineering team. This role blends architectural vision, people leadership, and disciplined delivery to strengthen platform reliability and elevate engineering maturity across the organization. Responsibilities:
Lead and develop engineers, QA, and agency partners with clear accountability and performance expectationsOwn technical delivery from architecture through development, validation, and production releaseEstablish delivery governance including sprint discipline, estimation standards, and release managementAlign engineering capacity with prioritized business objectives and roadmapsIdentify risks early and maintain predictable executionArchitect secure, scalable solutions aligned to defined business and marketing requirementsDesign and oversee integrations between marketing platforms and core enterprise systemsImplement APIs, data models, event schemas, and tracking frameworksEvaluate new platform capabilities for technical feasibility and long-term scalabilityMaintain architectural alignment with enterprise IT and security policiesEstablish and enforce engineering standards, documentation, and code review rigorOversee QA processes and release validationManage and reduce technical debtPartner with IT and Security on compliance, monitoring, and risk mitigationEstablish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metricsRecognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievementsOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education / ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline (required) master’s degree (MBA or Engineering Management) (preferred)Ten (10) years of progressive experience in engineering, product marketing, or technical program management (required)Minimum five (5) years managing engineers, external engineering partners, senior-level stake holders and driving alignmentStrong background in translating complex engineering concepts into customer‑focused marketing strategiesKnowledge base should include, architecting API-driven, composable digital ecosystems, implementing enterprise system integrations, designing technical data models, event-based tracking frameworks, automated testing practicesExpertise in APIs, distributed systems, and integration architecture (preferred)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practicesBroad knowledge of performance optimization, SEO technical foundations, and accessibility standards SkillsIndependently manage complex tasks and projectsCoach and mentor junior team membersAnalyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutionsPresent ideas in a compelling and structured format to diverse audiencesDemonstrate refined listening skills and emotional intelligenceFacilitate training sessions and cross-functional meetingsDrive consistent results in a fast-paced environmentLeverage enterprise-level tools and systems to streamline processesCreate new and better ways for the organization to succeedDevelop people to achieve their goals and support organizational successNavigate complex policies, processes, and organizational dynamics with easeWork independently, escalating complex or high-impact issuesDrive innovation to improve organizational successDevelop others to achieve individual and organizational goalsNavigate complex organizational dynamics with confidencePerform effectively amid uncertainty and ambiguity Abilities Able and willing to:Communicate, think, learn, and reasonUse computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasksSafely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site at Company locationsDemonstrate and utilize active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering and category flexibilityAbility to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneouslyAbility to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates essential functions of the positionAbility to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders Work EnvironmentWork is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location.
