Develops and maintains computermodels. Responsible for training the analysts on strategic insights and pricing.*** REMOTE work from HOME***Prefer EST & CST Candidates Essential FunctionsDaily pricing support: Will perform all pricing for any new and existing customers. Will provide analytical support to Director of Strategic Insights, Business Development team, and Parcel Operations to support decision-making.Employee development and supervision: Assist in planning staffing requirements, hiring (internal & external), work plan development, employee training and development, employee review and performance appraisals, provide overview and direction on projects, facilitate the flow of work and communication between analysts.Develops tools for pricing strategy, and tactics: Develops and continually enhances Pricing and Analytics models. Participates in a strategy discussion to determine roadmap of analytics and pricing.Reporting: Instrumental in development and continual support of client facing automated reporting dashboards, and internal reporting dashboards.Annual Price Increase Process: Completes this yearly requirement, from carrier and client analyses to system uploads, developing and enhancing tools as needed.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills, RequiredFlexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment, RequiredDetailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices, RequiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field, RequiredMaster's Degree in MBA, Business, Finance or related field, Preferred4 years or more in Pricing experience, Required2 years or more in Ryder experience, PreferredKnowledge of Excel, DOMO, RequiredPython Advanced, PreferredTechnical proficiency in Strategic Analyses Advanced, RequiredProficiency with computer applications and sophisticated PC spreadsheets Advanced, RequiredKnowledge of Logistics Intermediate, PreferredTravel1-10%Job CategoryFinancial AnalysisCompensation Information:The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
